I like this cover because it shows the resourcefulness and creativity of philately used to honor a spontaneous event. The stamps used for this mailing are #’s 555, 558, & 559. They would be catalogued at $60 - $70 mint, but the used value is less than $5. Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley are the previous Presidents of the U.S. to have been assassinated.
